I loved this book, and finished it in mostly one sitting (if one didn't need to eat and sleep I would be able to accomplish so much more). Daddy Long Legs was wonderful (and has made me want to correct some shortcomings in my education - there are so many books I wasn't introduced to in school that I am now wanting to catch up on), but this book spoke even more to me as a mother. Sally is an amazing main character and someone to aspire to be like. I love Webster's sense of humour, and her thoughtful and intelligent way of writing. I wish she had written many more books.
