Excellent book. I thought it might get tedious as the protagonist relives his life over and over but far from it. Consistently interesting, the novel says important things to say about the nature of life and experience.

This novel should be made into a movie! Could you imagine dying as an adult only to wake up back in your late teens or early twenties and have the chance to relive you life. . .knowing and feeling everything you did as an adult 20+ years older? And then, when you'd think that amazing. . . .as more years pass, you find yourself dying again and returning back to the same time frame as before to do it all over again . .. and again, and again? What a vivid imagination the author had to write this book that will not only take you on his adventures, but leave you imagining what you would do if you had the same opportunities.

A clever twist on time travel. A Hugo Award winner from the eighties. Ken Grimwood explores a scenario where the protagonist has an opportunity to relive his life four different times. Needless to say he keeps making some mistakes he wants to correct in succeeding attempts. A lot of fun.

I really like the middle pages of this book. I have never read anything like this book. It is fascinating on many levels, scientifically, and romantically. I thought that the author could have done a better job of developing his main love interest though. I don't understand why Jeff falls in love with her. I also felt that the last portion of the book joe goes on needlessly, though it is saved but the last 10 pages. I thought it was way better than 11/22/63 and definitely ended better hands down. I think the author also modeled himself after this character, envisioning the perfect character, and perfect life. I can't think of too many faults that Jeff has, if any. He is always doing the right thing, except when it comes to the woman he loves. He will do anything for her, just because of a common bond, even though she will treat him badly at times.

An amazingly compelling and thought provoking Science Fiction novel!

Grimwood is a hidden gem of an author. If you liked 11/22/63 by Stephen King you will like this book!

I've had Replay on hold since January 2014, and finally got to be #1 on the hold list. Now I find that it has suddenly been "Withdrawn."
Feeling peeved.

This is still one of my favorite books. The main character gets to re-try his life multiple times. The author does a great job of coming up with creative alternate paths he can choose in life. It's full of interesting plot twists that kept me engaged till the very end.

really liked this book - even after several years it still stands up. Imagining the limitless possibilities of what you would do if you could relive your life - but also, what you would lose if you make different choices.
