How come cousins marry each other so often in Heyer books? Ok, he's handsome, smart, and charming. You've known him forever. Because you're related! Don't do it! Marry someone else's cousin! Anyway, this was a fun mystery with snarky and uncompromising characters. It is the first appearance of Superintendent Hannasyde, about whom Heyer wrote many more novels. And, I figured our who did it before the detective! Yesss!
