One of the worst "great" writers of the century. This is sort of a murder-mystery set in Provincetown. Look for offensive things about women and homosexuals.

Loved The Executioner's Song but couldn't get into this one. His characters are cartoonish, 1950's style stereotypes. Gave up 3 chapters in.
