Like all of Jeffrey Archer's books, this was very well written. Unlike his other books in the series, what was happening was very predictable and also seemed slow moving. I still need to continue with the last two books just to see where…
I liked it enough to check it out on Kelsey but under author it shows available as audiobook only. After entering the title I found the book, etc. am wondering why there are no other books listed under his name in the search and only the…

I continue to find this series very engaging, and eagerly look forward to the next one up as the cliff hangars are "doozies"! All the characters develop nicely in each successive book - and a few new faces are added to the mix to keep it…

Again the business aspects are boring (to me) compared to the political and personal. Except that the business scenes are all part of the Barrington-Clifton family's enemies' various attempts to destroy them. I give this one a marginally…

There is no question that Mr. Archer can spin a good tale and he does in this book too, but then leaves everything in the air so that you must buy the next book to see what happens. I am extremely annoyed that a publisher would allow…

What can anyone say about a master story teller like Jeffrey Archer? He said this was the last of the Clifton Chronicles but he's left another cliff hanger. Besides, this one is only 1970's. There just has to be more in the pipeline.

Couldn't wait to read what was billed as the last of a 5-book series, only to find that, once again, I must wait for still another book! Highly enjoyed reading this, but not pleased that I've got to wait again to see how this saga…

Any reader of the earlier four books in "The Clifton Chronicles" will rush to read this sequel. If you're a new reader my advice would be to start at book 1! This book starts with an explosion aboard the ship The Buckingham on its maiden…

Another captivating read in the Clifton Chronicles, but not the best novel in this series. I, too, am anxiously awaiting the next instalment.

Jeffrey Archer always produces a good read. I have been following the Clifton Chronicles and enjoyed the latest instalment - plenty happening, and no doubt plenty more to come in the next instalment. Can I wait that long?
I have been waiting to read this book for a long time. Can't stop reading until I finished. However, I don't like that I have to wait for the next release again.
