This book is a great introduction to John Grisham for tweens who are not old and mature enough to read more of his novels. Grisham goes all out in creating a character young readers can identify with: a teenage student with an avid…
Who would of thought John Grisham would also write good children's books. Theodore Boone has learned a lot about law from his parents and uses it to help his classmates. Then when there is a murder, he manages to get himself right into the…

This is a great book. I first got the book out of the library because it sounded kind of interesting. I now love the series and have read all of them except one, which I am really looking forward to reading. The series is now my favourite…

Theodore Boone: Kid Lawyer was definitely a fun read. I have a feeling, though, that the satisfying conclusion won't really come about until later in the series.

This was a very good book! At first, I didn't enjoy it much, but later on in the book, I started liking the crisis and the murder trial. I really liked the part where Theo found out that Mr. Duffy actually did kill his wife. The story was…

Overall it is a good book, but you won't be satisfied until you read the whole series. I won't spoil it too much but it ends in a cliffhanger. I recommend this book for people aged 8 - 16 depending on your reading level.

The Grisham response to "Encyclopedia Brown." Enjoyed it. Tailored toward Teen boys. The main character is 13. The Story has twists, will keep the reader guessing.

This book, the start to an epic series, is amazing. Firstly, I want to tell you that there isn't much action in this book, so if you're looking for something along the lines of Percy Jackson, then you're at the wrong place. However, if you…

I like Grisham and I did like this set up to the Theodore Boone series but like so many series nowadays it was just a set up with the meat of the story to come in later books. I would recommend it to a thinking kid, not much action.

It was the perfect murder. The prosecution’s case was circumstantial. The murderer set everything up perfectly and he had the town’s most corrupt and unscrupulous defense attorney to get him off. It’s going to be the trial of the century,…

I only noticed this was a young adult book after I got this book home but I thought I'd read it anyways. This is a huge disappointment and I would not recommend it for youth either. Everything is so right or wrong, there is no ambiguity. …

I've always enjoyed John Grisham's legal stories. When I saw he had a new character with a series, I had to look into it.
It was an enjoyable and easy read with very clear and informative legal descriptions.
If you are looking for a fun…

it was ok, u can tell he's a good author, just not a very good plot. they should have shown the end of thd trial, because you're still not certain who the culprit was. plus, the ending was pretty boring as it wasn't someone u would never…
