I will not say that I did not enjoy this book. It is very readable. I liked the characters and the humor. My difficulty was in getting past the strong similarity to the James Herriott series "All Creatures Great and Small" written in…

If you liked All Creatures Great and Small you will like this. It reminds me of the British show Ballykissangel. Appreciate the glossary at the end along with the recipes form the housekeeper, Mrs. Kincaid. It's the 1st book of a series.
