When I first put this CD on I hated it. By the second song I was totally hooked. I don't know how ironic this band is but the 80s shred metal guitar fronted by gorgeous female vocals actually works. It falters a bit at the end but Born to Lose might get stuck in your head for days.

They call this stuff "noise pop". It is fun and catchy, yet creative enough to prevent you from throwing your soundsystem against a wall after a few listens. Nice.

Eh. I don't know... I've listened to both albums by this duo, and it just doesn't grab me. I think this one is a little better than the first one, but it still sounds generic and uninspired to me.
