Add a CommentGreat solid album. I will be checking out more stuff by them in the future.

I've been listening to The Black Keys since they started, and they've always been a solid, unique band that really deserved to make it big. Their older albums are really something to take in. El Camino and Brothers are a bit of a departure in my opinion in that they're shooting for commerical sounds to target the masses, but still far better than 95% of the stuff on the radio today. For a real treat, check out The Big Come Up (their first album), Rubber Factory, and Thickfreakness.
How they produce an album that is 90% catchy and solid with only 10% slow melodies...So good (so good). Rock it on a road trip or on your way to the bar on Friday night, so good.
Love their music, loved this CD.
