NO SDH or CC on this one, so Unfortunately I cannot comment.
I am disappointed the people who write the synopsis cannot mention this lack when they write.

An excellent and very realistic book. I couldn't put it down.
This is a natural for an action movie.

I usually like this kind of book and subject, but I found this very hard to get into and had to 'ditch' it after chapter 3. - An unusual event for me.

I've come to expect more from RWW. His Doc Ford books are all fascinating. This was little slow and hard to get into.

The first book in a really excellent series. Very realistic plot and fascinating characters. I have now read all of the 'Quinn Colson' books and enjoyed every one.

Another excellent novel by Atkins. This is just so believable about the attitudes and doings of the deep South. Colson is very well portrayed as a modest returning hero. I like all the characters especially his friend Boom and Lillie, his female deputy.Another excellent novel by Atkins. This is just so believable about the attitudes and doings of the deep South. Another excellent story of my favourite British hero. I love all of the extraneous knowledge Cornwell fits into his descriptions of places and battles. Sharpe is always a very realistic character.

There have been better 'Joe Pickett' novels, but this was different and showed Nate in a completely different light. Quite gripping and very enjoyable.

An excellent finish to Flynn's Mitch Rapp series. I have enjoyed all of these novels.
What a shame this excellent author died so young.

A very realistic and sad novel of early 50's South Africa ( I was there ). Nostalgic, true to life then, and very well portrayed.

Started off as a good but sightly incredible tale but soon got unbelievable. A junior officer simply was NOT invited to his CO's estate in those days ( maybe not even these days. )
I'll concede this could be quite entertaining if you don't know or haven't experienced the incredible snobbery of the landed British Army officer class.Started off as a good but sightly incredible tale but soon got unbelievable. I have previously enjoyed Iggulden's books very much. I especially loved the 'Emperor' series about Rome. I was disappointed here and I think it was due to the vast array of characters and their changing attitudes and allegiances. It was a struggle

I usually love this kind of book and subject but I just couldn't get into this and found it quite unbeleivable. Had to let it go after the first chapter .
-There are too many good books to bother reading the mundane

This was my first reading of 'Ash Henderson' and it was so gripping I stayed up till 3 am to finish it ! -And the next day I went down to the library to get the next Ash Henderson offering. -Certainly this was dark and sometimes even morbid - but so can life be. I can empathise with Ash in his misery, anger and eagerness to get the killer. - And unhappy endings are often realistic, life is not always a fairy tale!
