An odd but engaging book. The family Fang revolves around performance art. The children are eventually forced to choose between family and art.

An interesting premise for a book. Lisa Lutz developed the premise and started the book, then traded off writing chapters with David Hayward. The interaction between the two authors is, in the end, more interesting than the story they pull together. An interesting premise for a book. Into the Woods is the first of Tana French's four mysteries set in Ireland. A very riveting read and well developed characters--but a frustrating end in my opinion. As the play is first announced, then students start trying out for it, the women around town find themselves turning away from men. A novel about three generations of women living in one space--recently divorced Joannie, living with her teenage daughter Caroline and her mother Ivy. The author moves between the characters exploring the struggles they each face as they learn to live together and to deal with Joannie's ex-husbands planned marriage and impending fatherhood. A book that was more promissing in premise than delivery. Still fun to read, but lacking in much depth.

Four women drawn together initially to be part of a diversity committee evolve into meeting regularly to play poker and support each other. They find that they are diverse, but maybe not so much in ways that were initially apparent. Another fun romp of a book by Janet Evanovich. The main character Stephanie Plum finds herself in the most ridiculous situations--generally very funny ones. This is a fast an easy but satisfying read.

My favorite of her books so far. This book follows Frank Mackey back to his childhood in Ireland. Tana French brings the pretty mean streets of a relatively poor town in Ireland alive. I was disappointed when I realized the book was not going to pull in Rob Ryan from her first book, but ended up liking this one more than the first. My favorite of her books so far.
